Granville is 25–35 minutes south-west of Rydalmere in typical traffic. It’s an older Sydney railway suburb with a lot of Federation and inter-war cottages mixed with post-war brick homes and newer townhouse infill. Character plumbing — old lead solder, galvanised water lines and clay sewers — is the reality of this suburb.
We love the challenge of old-Sydney plumbing, and Granville gives us plenty. Expect to find galvanised water, lead sewer joints, and cast-iron waste lines — some should be replaced; some are still perfectly functional.
A significant band of Federation cottages and inter-war brick and weatherboard homes — some heritage-listed — mixed with 60s–70s brick-veneer homes and newer infill. Old pipework is the dominant plumbing reality.

Burst pipes, active leaks, blocked mains and gas emergencies — we’ll prioritise urgent jobs in Granville where we can, and be honest on the phone if a closer plumber would be quicker.
